Open All Hours, Apparently

Today started at 5.40 a.m. here, thanks to an almost-two-year-old who decided it was time not just to wake up, but to ensure, through sheer volume, that the rest of the family also awoke.

George and Freddy are arguing about breakfast as I write.

This is going to be such a fun day.

Gosh, yes. I’d forgotten that situation. Everyone here is now old enough to have the grace to sit glassy eyed and unresponsive for an hour or so when they wake.
