Recent amusing moments from other children:
We were out in the garden and I was on the phone to a friend, discussing composting. I described our compost bin as “looks like a dalek”. George immediately rushed off to grab Freddy, saying “Hey, guess what Mum just said about our compost bin!” - at which the two of them hurried off around the bushes with great excitement, to have a closer look 
And this one is not because of anything particular that Freddy did, it was just a situation that amused me: I walked in to collect him from ju-jitsu, to see him standing face-to-face with a girl, each of them with their arms around the other. Freddy is very much a boy’s boy (that’s like a man’s man, only shorter), so it was a surprising sight. They made a beautiful couple, with him so dark and her so fair, and it all looked very sweet - until she knocked him to the floor
