France is brilliant!

That’s what Barney said on the telephone anyway :-)

Their journey went smoothly and they’ve arrived safely. Henry is delighted to be back and pleased with his newly-painted bedroom, and Barney loves the house and the location and the weather and… well, apparently, everything about France.

So far, he’s handling all this better than I could ever have imagined :-)

From what you’ve said, he was finding the anticipation hard to handle - actually GOING is probably a bit of a relief…
*hugs* for you though, I think you must be terribly well-adjusted to even consider letting him go.

Well-adjusted? Moi? ;-)

I don’t know, I’ve never thought of myself as well-adjusted. I think that what’s letting me handle it is that I think this is a fantastic opportunity for him, that he can benefit a tremendous amount from it. But I’m surprised I’m not in a heap on the floor though (yet?)

Hope everything continues smooothly and that neither you nor Scratchy get the wobbles too badly.
