Red Noses

I’m lying in bed, nursing Toby, who was snotty and cranky all night (and all day yesterday). I’m feeling much the same myself. And as I hear the others start to emerge from their beds, I’m wishing I could just stay in bed today. Pull up the covers, hide from the world. But too much to do. And I’m thinking I don’t want to have to cope with the kids today. I mean, I love them, but y’know… some days I just want to not deal.
And then I hear three little voices together singing “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”. And I think, “Nah, I can do this.”
Anybody got a few extra hours lying around going spare? I’ll pay top dollar…

Aww, hope you feel better soon! At least your washing machine is working! Ours broke down yesterday and we eagerly bought one a few hours later. It won’t be delivered until Friday though. Thought to let you know the end of my wm saga..
