Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful…

…hate me because I’ve just done 90% of my Christmas shopping.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
holy moly! HOw did you manage that?????
S’easy - you just go out to look for shoes, but end up buying pressies instead
Vouchers?
Ethical gifts, a great way to buy online and wrap nothing?
Nope, no cheating was involved
Oh wow! Wish I had done - I’ve got a course to try to get finished and a baby to prepare for too, before Christmas comes. I guess as soon as DH gets paid this month I’d better get started, then that’s one less thing to worry about!
I can’t even think about it. I should but I can’t. Please do not brag you have it all wrapped tomorrow or I shall feel even worse:)
Lol, well you can consider yourself responsible for someone else’s christmas shopping too
I successfully sniped a k’nex pinball thingy today, so that’s my shopping officially started!
Christmas?? Wow… we still have an 18th birthday to cover, way before Christmas. And at least four other family birthdays. I usually start thinking about Christmas in early November, and often don’t even start buying presents until December. Living abroad means I do manage it before Christmas Eve usually… which is quite an improvement!
But … but … supposing they see all sorts of things they *must* have for Christmas in November? Supposing *you* see something you know they’d love? It’s all a bit too much like trying to predict the future for my liking, so I certainly don’t hate you.
(For that
Maybe the beautiful thing
)
Ah, but individual I-want-thats I can manage - that’s just a case of finding out where it is and going to get it. It’s the whole fighting-through-the-crowds and trying-to-figure-out-what-to-buy bit that I can’t stand!
Hmm, was thinking I haven’t fought through crowds for two or three years, just do it all online, but I guess internet shopping loses a lot of its appeal when they randomly quadruple the postage charges.
Anyway, still have no inspiration for Buttercup’s birthday in 12 days, so there’s no hope of me coming up with anything good for Christmas yet.
