Nerdier than (most of) you
Hm, looks like there’s only one EY blogring member who’s nerdier than me. I can’t decide if that’s a good thing or a bad thing…
Once again, I haven’t blogged events in about three days, and once again, I can only remember about 20% of it. It’s not even as if I can blame drinking
On Friday I ran about with the boys and did some errands. Borrowed some DVDs since the weather for Friday evening didn’t look too appealing, cycled down to return those on Saturday (okay, so I didn’t make it all the way back on my bicycle - but hey, it was windy and it was uphill). I was very pleased to discover that I’d lost seven pounds (in a week!) though suspect I may have gained a little back today. The boys have played here, played at friends, watched DVDs… your average wet weekend. I played about with the new Amazon toy - it’s supposed to be a store, but unless you embed it in your own site, it’s really little more than a fancified short list of things you like. Still, if you want to spend some money at Amazon, I don’t mind if you do it using my links - you never know, I might get enough commission to pay for the postage on something. And yes, I’m copying Jax, but no, she doesn’t mind (I asked!)
Can’t believe it’s nearly the end of August!

I like your selection.
You can embed it in an iframe or frameset, though I couldn’t get the latter to work within wordpress, and the first one lost the navigation.
well done on the seven pounds - that sounds impressive for a week, though the amount of cycling you’ve done sounds pretty impressive too!
Yeah, my middle section here is too narrow for it though, and I can’t be bothered setting up a template just for that.
Which is roughly what i put on i think!
But well done you
Well, the seven pounds had to go somewhere, didn’t it? It couldn’t just disappear. Maybe I ought to avoid losing weight as a public service, so no-one else ends up with it…
88%, wow. I tried it, and got 22%. I thought I was giving a lot of nerdy answers, too, simply because I happened to be good at maths at school, learned the periodic table, and have fairly techie family members around me.
