Timing

My washing machine has just poured water all over the garage floor 
I thought at first the glass in the door was cracked, but I can’t see where. This leaves me with a problem: there is no way I’ll be able to get anyone to look at it until at least Friday, because everything is closed here on Wednesday and Thursday. There will be no way to get a repair or a replacement before then.
And I have at least two loads of nappies waiting to be washed.

I know it isn’t ideal, but can you hand wash anywhere? I hand washed at Hesfes a couple of years back. Wouldn’t fancy doing it for more than a few days though.
I wouldn’t want to hand-wash the nappies; it would take too long and I don’t think I’d get them properly clean without doing it the old-fashioned way with pots of boiling water etc!
