Or rather, TG F’s over!
Very late start this morning, but the boys did a bit of maths and fiction writing and blogging before an earlyish lunch and heading out the door. I finally got around to giving them their pocket-money (we visit the bank and deposit pocket-money monthly - in theory) so there was lots of money out of one bank and into another going on. They all kept some money out - in Jack’s case just to have a coin to carry around, really; in George’s case to spend on something at Toys’R'Us (he really thinks I’m going back there soon?); in Barney’s case to “have a bit of cash on hand” and in Freddy’s case - well, any money Freddy gets burns a hole in his pocket, and he’s already bought himself and his brothers chocolate muffins just to be able to spend some money (though them being chocolate didn’t hurt).
Visited three different shops for groceries (and found Lidl are using shelf-talkers to promote infant formula again - email sent to Environmental Health this evening about that). Bought up lots of clearance stuff and packed the freezer as full as it’s been since we got it 
- though I did not buy any junk-food. In fact I bought lots of salad-making stuff (though I suspect you have to do more than buy it for the pounds to start coming off…)
In between times, I dropped Barney and George at the leisure centre for them to go swimming, then went back for them and to get George and Freddy onto the soccer pitch, then went to collect Scratchy from the train, then back to the leisure centre to get Barney doing soccer and Freddy and Jack into the pool along with Scratchy, then back again to collect them before Scratchy and Barney returned for basketball!
Despite all the driving around, Toby was in fact a very happy chappy almost the entire day. He has hated the car for months, but fingers crossed that things are improving in that direction.

I have that same trouble with cleaning stuff. I buy it and buy it but the house doesn’t seem to be any cleaner. DH reckons I have to actually get it out the cupboard but thats not the idea surely
