Just how bad would it be…

…if I printed off labels with our names on them and stuck them on the insides of our Christmas cards instead of actually writing on them?
Even if I’ve a baby who likes to keep at least one of my arms busy and preferably both, and a still-sore rib, and it’s two weeks before Christmas and some of my cards have to go to Canada and the US?
I already tried printing directly onto the cards; the card is too absorbent and the ink blurs so it’s illegible.
(And do I sound like I’m panicking yet? 8-O)

You’ve got five kids - I would be strongly inclined to divide the list up, and have everyone who can adequately wield a pen pull their weight…
Hm. Three can write legibly, but one would need poster-sized cards to fit it all in, and another would spend all day decorating one card with multiple doodles and then look stunned at the realisation that there were more. I take it you think the stickers are a singularly bad idea though…
It’s not that I’d be offended to get one, you understand (except for the year my dad did it, but he didn’t have your excuses, and anyway, how hard was it to write “love Dad”?) - I just wouldn’t be brave enough to send them myself…
Can you not write one and scan it and then print it all out so it looks like you wrote it? Might fool some! I was debating the same thing but I too didn’t have your good excuses so I wasn’t brave enough either!
I tried printing it on the card, but the cardstock is too absorbent, which is why I’m turning to sticky labels. I can print the labels in a nice font though, so it would look vaguely like handwriting (if you were very short-sighted LOL)
We printed on to our cards last year using a template of handwriting from Big. Didn’t get any complaints.
Do it, you never know you might start a craze
That’s what i always do!
Oh well in that case, I’ve another excuse to add to the pile - Mrs MuddlePuddle does it!
I think it’s fine - no one seems to have a problem with printed cards, don’t see any difference with sticky labels. Haven’t even started thinking about ours yet …
