There’s houses and houses…

…and we still haven’t found one that we really want. We’re leaning towards something close to Scratchy’s work - there’s a lot to be said for having a 10-minute commute - but there’s really only one house we’ve seen that is close enough and that would do us. We looked at a couple more today, including a couple of newly-built ones, but I just don’t know…and Scratchy just doesn’t know, so we’re as bad as each other

Houses - eurgh, choosing is so hard. Steve chose ours, he said he knew it was right. There were things I didn’t like about it and was still unsure even on our moving day, but after a week here I loved it. It would help if *one* of you was a bit more sure, though …
Well, Tim chose ours when it wasn’t a house! It’s a newbuild, and there was only a building site here, and we came to look at the plot, and Tim liked it right off. I think we bought it at just the right time - 5 years on and they’ve put a new build in half of the rest of the village, and they are nowhere near as nice as our house. Plus we’ve got a huge garden.

Yes, I *knew* as soon as I saw ours that it was the right one & I’d looked at loads. My instincts were right. Good luck with your search!
