Blogging is contagious

Barney caught the blogging bug

He’s been listening in as Scratchy and I have been talking about blogs over the past few days and has displayed some interest. I thought it might be a good thing for him to do - apart from being fun, the ever-aware-of-an-educational-opportunity bit of me thought it would help his writing - organising material, choosing words, spelling (not that he needs any help there LOL), etc. And of course the whole idea of recapping your day/feelings in a journal format, and the planning-ahead it seems to encourage. So I thought I’d suggest it to him.

I really should know better. Called him in this morning and showed him my blog. Started explaining bits and pieces about it, and a couple of minutes in, he pipes up “Can I have one?” That child has always been at least three steps ahead of me

So can you guess what we’ve spent the last hour doing? Of course now I have to get it all set up on the desktop for him, or I’ll never see my own laptop
