Am I unique?

I think I must be. Everyone else raves about the LOTR trilogy - I don’t get it. I forced myself to read the books, and while I can recognise their literary merit, they’re just not my thing. I found myself picking holes in the story all the way through, wondering how much longer it would take me to finish them…

Scratchy is watching one of the movies on DVD. I’ve glanced up for a few minutes periodically, just in case I could figure out what it was that everyone else seems to see in it. Nope. Still does nothing for me. Sorry :yawn:

No, you’re not unique. Well you are, we all are, but not in disliking LOTR ;o) It’s boring, I never managed to get in to the books and the films are too long and…boring!
